Cranberry Almond Pie (Gluten-Free Optional)
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups cranberries 
- 1/4 cup sugar 
- 1/2 cup Mariani Sliced Almonds 
- 2 eggs 
- 1 stick softened butter 
- 1 cup sugar 
- 1 cup gluten-free or all purpose flour 
- 1 tsp almond extract 
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. 
- Add the cranberries to the bottom of a pie pan with almonds and sugar. Mix them all together to coat everything with sugar. 
- In a medium size bowl, beat the butter and sugar together. 
- Add the eggs and almond extract and whisk together. 
- Pour in the gluten-free flour and whisk until smooth. 
- Pour the batter over the top of the cranberries and top with sliced almonds. 
- Bake for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
