Almond Chocolate Chip Breakfast Cookies


INGREDIENTS

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed

  • 1 cup natural almond butter

  • ¼ cup maple syrup

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • 2 cups quick-cooking oats

  • ½ cup chocolate chips

  • ½ cup Mariani Sliced Almonds


INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Add the bananas, almond butter, maple syrup, and salt to a large bowl. Whisk together until combined.

  3. Fold the oats, chocolate chips, and almonds into the dry ingredients.

  4. Use your hands to shape the dough into 12 disks. The cookies will not spread in the oven, so you want to create flat disks of dough rather than balls.

  5. Bake the cookies for 15 minutes. Cool completely before serving.
